The Eidolons - Now That I’m Gone

from The Eidolons – No One Ever Sticks Around That Long by DGTLHRNE

lyrics

In New York City there ain't no time to even waste in line waiting when eyes are dilated open wide and not caring they just caught you staring back. You never expected that, did you? At every time you look up the eyes are staring at you.
If you give us a masquerade your money goes faster they hold in their laughter, take advantage of this exact situation without hesitation. The minute is fastest in the nation and everything else you've heard about it seems to be true.

I knew the moment I met you I would never forget you and now that I'm gone I have to let you know. I didn't always expect you to stay in my life, but I'm glad that you did. And know that even though I never said that I need you, deep down I believe that if two people are destined for each other, Sonoma California to New York, it's not up to you. Or it's not up to me. How can we really know? I'm not saying I'd like to change the natural course of things. I have to spread my wings and you have much more of your life ahead of you. We have some things to do. No matter where we go I want you to know. Before the day that I die, I want you to know that I love you. When I close my tired eyes, you should know that I am thinking of you.
